Answer:

This is a high-power biological microscope, and designed to hold and view slides. 3-dimensional objects, like jewelry, are best viewed with “inspection/dissection” microscopes, which have lower powers.

We do carry some camera-style inspection microscopes, but they are all  over $500 . The standard  inspection microscope can easily have a camera attached, though, so a sub-$300 inspection scope  could work quite well for your purposes.

As for attaching a camera, the Lumicon Digi-Cam adapter would allow any digital camera to be attached.
