It’s generous 6X20mm field allows for very precise measurements at all latitudes from 70 degree north to 70 degree south. Thanks to the unique bubble level design, the Sphinx mount doesn’t even have to be level to use the Vixen SX Polar Finder! Simply thread it into place and the illuminator incorporated into the Sphinx mount will light up the reticule pattern.

Set the reticule to the time and date by rotating the dials, look into the finder, adjust to your eyesight and align the stars by using your mount’s alt-az controls. It’s just that easy and it’s accurate enough for long exposure astrophotography until the year 2025!
