The Meade Series 5000 Ultra Wide Angle 30mm Eyepieces offer revolutionary new advances in resolution, image correction and eye relief, with an astonishing 82 deg. field of view and waterproof construction. The Series 5000 UWA eyepieces feature a 7-element, fully multi-coated optical design with premium-grade and exotic optical glasses for the best possible performance and image brightness, blackened lens edges and internal surfaces for enhanced contrast and a parafocal design for little or no focus change when switching between eyepieces of the series. With a precision machined 2″ barrel, comfortable long eye relief and adjustable twist-up rubber eyeguard for comfort and blocking stray light.

These eyepieces have the same high quality and premium performance as our top of the line Ultra Wide Angle (UWA) eyepieces but with smaller 60 degree AFOV and a much lower cost. They have excellent edge-to-edge sharpness and are a perfect way to get all the performance that Meade’s ACF optical system delivers.
The kit includes an aluminum carrying case and is complete with all six of the HD-60 eyepieces at a significant savings over buying the eyepieces individually.
